As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program, representatives from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Creative Industries at Barleti University participated in the International Staff Week hosted by the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal.
The academic delegation included: PhD Gerdi Papa, PhD Saimir Shtylla, MSc. Ledio Kosta, MSc. Koi Barbullushi. The week-long program brought together international staff from across Europe and beyond for a dynamic series of trainings, workshops, and networking opportunities. Participants had the chance to exchange ideas on internationalization in higher education, innovation in pedagogy, and collaborative research.
A highlight of the visit was the tour of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Minho’s Azurém Campus, with special focus on their Digital Fabrication Laboratory. The lab stands as a cutting-edge hub for computational design, digital prototyping, and experimental architecture—showcasing a vibrant intersection between technology, design, and academic research.
This mobility continues to strengthen Barleti University’s international engagement and reflects our commitment to academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in design education.
