Collection of Plastic in Shkodra Lake
The "Art, Plastics and Recycling" is a comprehensive project on local development agencies, SMEs and other stakeholders of development. A continuous process of this project is the collection of plastic throughout the Shkodra Lake.
University "Barleti" part of this project, has started the phase of plastic collection with young volunteers who have expressed their interest for a cleaner environment along Shkodra Lake, which is a cultural heritage. This phase aims to raise awareness about the importance, protection and promotion of environment. Interest shown by younger generations was a successful beginning of this process. Young students from art school but also from social background have collected plastic waste along the Lake, showing an example for all citizens.
Plastic collection is an ongoing process till the end of the project, and therefore during the course of it’s, aims to increase the number of volunteers sensibilized to successfully complete this project.
