Barleti University Associate Partner of Eumamanet23 Project
Barleti University is one of the associated partners of the EUMAMANET23 project coordinated by Associazione Italiana Cultura Sport (AICS), in partnership International Workers and Amateurs in Sports Confederation, Mamanet Italy, Mamanet Austria and Mamanet International (Isreal) and financed by EU.
The project aims at empowering women and promoting gender equality in sports through Mamanet movement. The Mamanet movement is an innovative model that seeks to change the existing status of women in the field of sports encouraging involvement of more women over 30 years old and mothers in regular sport activities.
In the framework of the project, Barleti MAMANET has been created, the first team of this movement in Albania, composed by academic and administrative staff of Barleti University, that will participate in CSIT World Sports Games 2023 that will take place in Cervia/ Italy, from the 5 th to the 10 th of September 2023
