Staff exchanges with the University of Sakarya
On July 24-28, 2023, Dhimitri Bako, Head of the Curriculum and Quality Development Unit, participated in a 5-day visit to the University of Sakarya, Turkey, in the framework of academic and administrative staff mobilities provided from the Erasmus+ program.
The objective of this mobility was to observe international experiences on the policies and strategies of the partner universities regarding quality assurance and management of universities at the national and international levels. The visit consisted of various meetings and presentations on the activities of both institutions (sending and receiving) regarding quality assurance in their academic offer.
The main areas where cooperation is possible is the provision of joint programs (joint degrees), joint scientific activities, joint application in European research and development programs etc.
At the same time, colleagues from Sakarya University visited Barleti University, thus successfully concluding staff (and student) exchanges for this academic year.
These visits are considered great opportunities for expanding cooperation between universities, which soon can be concretized with agreements, joint projects, etc.
