On 15 October 2014 at the premises of "Barleti University, the "Institute for Research and Development Barleti” (BIRD) in cooperation with the Agency of Research, Technology and Innovation (ARTI), held the Information Day on the European Programs of Research and Innovation, that finances and supports research.

Programs that were presented were: Horizon 2020, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), Euracess Network, and the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Was presented the OI-net The European Academic Network. UB and BIRD searchers were also able to find more information on the topics of new European programs. Also believed that close cooperation with common institutes (JRC) and applications in European programs of Research and Innovation will greatly help in increasing their level as researchers, improving of knowledge and new technologies, and improving the economic and cultural development of the country.

Persons informing and making the presentations were: Daniela Tako, Julian Zaimi and Ardit Gjipali and three representatives from the Department of International Programs (AKTI) as well as Dr.Reis Mulita representative of the Certi / Institute for Research and Development Barleti.
