Conference: Family-School-Local Governance "Building Partnerships for Sustainable Development"
Scientific knowledge, with both professional skills and abilities gained in the auditorium of the University "Barleti", the student of MND in "Public Policy and Administration" Mrs. Artrida Ferketi, dares to be faced with local government actors, civil society, media, religious communities, as well as communities of parents and school students pre-university system of the District of Shkodra, where even contributes professionally.
In support of this goal in the grounds of the Grand Hotel Europa in Shkoder, took place the Regional Conference " Family-School-Local Governance , Building Partnerships for Sustainable Development". In her presentation, Ms.Ferketi introduced the idea that building effective partnerships and functional Family- School -Local Governance, will contribute greatly to the communities and the territory of the district of Shkodra. On the way ahead the students offers both method and tools on how to achieve such a partnership for sustainable development in the district of Shkodra.
Dr. Mulita Reis, as the representative of the University "Barleti ", held the presentation " Challenges of Higher Education Institutions to establish the Knowledge Society and Sustainable Development: The Case of the UniversityNULL Barleti ".
In the presentation, Dr. Mulita highlighted the role of UB through the development of academic programs and the research work directly, and the contribution of creating a knowledge society for sustainable development across all cycles of university studies, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral studies soon in partnership with Clemson University, in USA.
Dr. Nasi Mitrojorgji, Head of the Department of "Public Policy and Administration" in Barleti University, in response to the interest and the maximal evaluation of participants on the activities of UB in the higher education market, conveyed the message that the philosophy and activities of UB, has as objective to provide innovation and innovative practices in developing national and regional level, and that this event will bring UB, even closer Shkodra District in the future.
